*** Rebecca (Beki) Perkins

Chair

A fifth-generation Dickinson Countian, Beki grew up in Abilene and graduated from Emporia State University. She served previously as Dickinson County Democratic Chair from 1978 to 1980 before moving to New Jersey, where she remained active in Democratic politics. She returned home to Abilene in 2021. She's mom to Sara Levine (husband Josh) and Jonathan Estis and Gran to Claire and Ben Levine. She's president of the Ladies Literary League, a member of PEO - Chapter JQ, and is treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Abilene Public Library. She is a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and serves as senior warden. She is president of the Perkins Partnership, a public policy consulting firm.

Ron is a life-long Abilene resident. He is retired from the maintenance department of the Santa Fe Railroad. He enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.

Marty was born and raised in the Chicago, Illinois area. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and spent most of his adult life living in Northern Virginia working for the Department of Defense at the Pentagon. When he retired after 40 years, his family included his wife Janet, three grown daughters and no grandchildren. He and Janet expected to live a quiet retired life in Virginia. Then his daughter, who had moved to Abilene and married a local man, had twin baby girls. Marty and Janet soon moved to Abilene and became active grandparents and Dickinson Couny Democrats. He is a parishioner of St. Andrew's Catholic Church and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He also belongs to the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE).
